Good afternoon everyone,I was hoping I could reach out to the group here with some assistance with an upcoming traffic court trial I have scheduled in July. The ticket was for 'improper left turn.' HTA 141 (6).Apparently, the area in which it took place is one of the hottest spots for traffic violations in the cityhttp://forums.redflagdeals.com/cops-cracking-down-left-turns-onto-yonge-street-qew-788566/This was the first time in a while that I used this road. It was about 0820 in the morning and the traffic was very heavy. I could not see any lane markings as the traffic was bumper to bumper; it wrapped around the corner. The police officer waived me down after I was attempting to make a lane change into the left-most lane once I realized that I could only do so from that lane. Apparently, they changed the rules recently that prevented traffic from turning from the middle lane. Can anyone share their thoughts on how I can fight this charge? Any suggestions on relevant questions to ask of the police officer at court?I was also hoping if someone can confirm how often this particular officer attends traffic court. His badge number is 9202.Thank you for your help.
