Have you ever been ripped off in regards to your car? Buying, Repairing, Towing, etc?

Hey guys,Who here has been ripped off recently, and for what and why? Have you learned anything that you'd like to share to prevent others from getting ripped off?I got ripped off on:1) A Tow -- Vulture truck took advantage of me when I was most vulnerable, and had not honoured my rights in that situation. Right to see approved rates, call auto club, and not be coercised into using their service.2) Used car -- our family bought a used car that was clean on carfax, had clean safety report from dealer (brand, not used dealer) but later found out it had 2 major accidents that carfax didn't know about. The dealer lied to us about the accidental history as well.3) Auto parts delivered by UPS - Didn't know UPS kills any value you get by imposing brokerages and other major fees that the postal service doesn't.
