Taxi cab hit and run! need help!

Hey guys,I'm not 100% sure where to post this, but 2 nights ago i was rear ended by a cab that tried fleeing the scene. I stopped him and he tried wiping his paint off from my bumper with brake fluid. While he was doing this I snapped photos of his license plate, cab number and him wiping my car. When i asked for insurance he ran into his car and took off. I filed police reports, I called my insurance, I contacted a physiotherapist. I spoke with 1 lawyer, but he wanted 30%. Now I'm unsure what I can do here against Co-Op taxi. I don't know my rights and I'm scared of people taking advantage of me. I spoke with a lawyer, but I was very unsatisfied there. He didn't tell me what actions I can take against this company or anything. His office was a pig sty and he was very rude and cold. He treated me like a money grabber... Funny that a lawyer treats me like that lol.So basically what I want to achieve is the following:-Make sure that driver is off the road-Get my car fixed-Sue them for stress and for getting me injuredI didn't lose time off work considering I'm a contract employee that will lose my job if I don't show up. I sit at a computer all day, but this is hard considering my neck, back and legs are killing me.Also, I took my car to Nick's Body Shop on dovercourt. He pretty much said you'll get a new bumper, but if you try fighting to get your suspension fixed it will be very hard. So now I have a wonky loud wobbly car that might not get fixed the way it should be. What can I do?Any help would be appreciated!Thank you,Biff
