Thumbs up 8 year old ICBC traffic ticket

Hello fellow Redflaggers, I am looking for opinions regarding a Speed Relative to Conditions I received in B.C. in 2004 for $167. To my surprise I have been informed via ARO Inc (collections agency)that because of those persistant little buggers at ICBC that the matter is now in collections. So as for my question is there some sort of statue of limitations for traffic tickets in B.C.? After 2 mins of searching I pulled this:*BC Limitation Act * *Section 3(5) *Any other action not specifically provided for in this Act or any other Act may not be brought after the expiration of 6 years after the date on which the right to do so arose. If they have a case I will just pay the ticket I dont want it to affect my excellent credit. If they are bluffing I will call their bluff. Please to all those self rightious busybodies types I dont need to hear how evil I am or that I did bad therefore should just pay the ticket.
