Cops are such haters

I was driving down Queen st East and I was doing speed limit (50km/hr) in that area.I had my windows rolled down and I pass a cop who was sitting I think at Beverly st or something.As soon as I pass him, he pulls outta the side street and follows me, but right after I passed him I had to slow down to about 30km/h cause of the taxi in front, they always like to drive slow for fares. lol.This was at 12:00 am in the morning btw on a Tuesday/Wednesday. Lights me up, ok so I pulled over.. I shut off my car and wait. Comes up to me and the following dialogue occurs:Him: Hey what are you doing?Me: Good evening officer how can I help? *chuckle*Him: WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING, YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY?Me: Yea, what's up?Him: EXCUSE ME?Me: What's up?Him: EXCUSE ME?ME: What's.....up.....?Him: Do you know who you are talking to?Me: OK FINE, God's peace to you sir, how can I be of assistance?Him: You think this is a race track?Me: *looks down* *looks back up* *shrugs shoulders* I dunno you tell me?Him: Step out of the car.Me: OK *I step out*Him: Why are you speeding?Me: How fast was I going?Him: You were speeding?Me: Ok, then how fast was I going?Him: You got a nice car, you trying to impress your girl in the passenger seat? (my gf and I just came from movies)Me: lol wut? She doesn't even care about nice cars.Him: What you trying to do compensate for something else?Me: Oh yea, that's a classic.Him: Give me your license and insurance.Me: OK, *went to get it outta the sun visor* (BTW you should keep it there, prevents cops from searching your glove compartment, mine has a clip you can clip it to).Him: Ok stay in your vehicle.10 Mins pass...His partner: can you turn on your car for me please? (I know what they are doing, they are trying to check my lights for functionality)Me: Fine *start engine*His partner: *checks car* ok thanksMe: *shuts off engine*His partner: *get's back into the car*15-20 mins laterHim: Here's your stuff *give's me my drivers license and my gf's drivers license back* You have 15 days....Me: *reading the charge... says "Entire plate not plainly visible"* *I have dealer plate covers on* LOL you couldn't charge me with anything else except this huh nice.Him: *walks off*Me: *start engine proceed to drive down the road approx. 3 mins* Oh crap, he didn't give me my reg and insurance back. *pull over and dial 911*911: Police, fire or ambulanceMe: Police.911: where do you want the police?Me: Queen and *some cross street*911: what is your emergency?Me: This cop took my registration and insurance now I can't drive.911: huh? he took your reg and ins?Me: yea his name was ***** and his badge number is *****911: what's your number?Me: ***-***-****911: ok hold on a sec someone will call you back soon.3-4 mins later52 Division: Hi, is this *****?Me: yes52 Division: Yea the officer is heading back to the station now, you will have to come get it from 52 Division.Me: But I don't have my registration and insurance how am I gonna drive?52 Division: Don't worry if you get pulled over just tell em 52 division said it was ok, I'll vouch for you.Me: ummm ok.. see you soon.I ended up picking my stuff back up at the station...Also turns out the offense he quoted me for does not exist under the HTA because he didn't even quote the right section (fatal error).Btw this whole time I was pulled over, he didn't have his lights on after the first 5 mins or so, when he got back in.
