Thumbs up Radioactive Japanese Cars

It occurred to me that it isn't out of the realm of possibility that some radioactive cars or parts could make it's way into driveways in North America. For example, low level radiation was detected in cars shipped to Chile from Japan, as well as other parts of the world. The radiation in those cars was detectible, but what about radiation in parts that is not readily detectable (inside parts)? Does this concern anybody and will this change any buying habits out there? The inspectors may have acceptable limits, but I don't think that any radiation is acceptable.
