Default PS3 : Repair vs. Replace

My FAT PS3 recently just died on me, I'm assuming its the RED LIGHT OF DEATH.It would start occasionally, and then just turn off itself...Try to restart it, and nothing happens..If I turn the main power off, and restart it, it tells me my hard drive could be corrupted as well....and will perform a scan disk to make sure...and then nothing happens.Should I get it repaired? If so, where is a good place? From what I've read, seems like it'll be in the $50-100 range.Or just buy a new one $250 or refurb. $150-200
