Default Joining a health club or using local sports facilities

Hey guys. Im kind in a dillema. Goodlife Fitness just opened within the last 6 months within walking distance of my house. Millenium place (local sports facility) is about a 10min bus ride to get there. Now heres the rest of the situation. I basically just want to use the gym to get back into shape for the 2012 rugby season and will be going back to school in september so I have access to a gym there. Anyways does anyone know if Goodlife allows usage based on a monthly rate or even a 6 months package? Millenium Place on the other hand is about $37 a month but then since I dont drive I would have to buy a bus pass ($85) or pay $3.25 each time to get there. I wouldnt be using the gym during the summer or once school starts. Any ideas or suggestions woiuld be greatly appreciated
