Thumbs up Planning a trip to New Orleans - any advice: travel agency;flights;hotels.

I've been doing my research and I've been to NOLA before so I kinda know where I want to stay, but it's hard to figure out the best way to get there or book a room without paying a premium. Flying out of Buffalo is much cheaper, but since everything is connecting you end up traveling all day - not cool. Out of YYZ - there are nice flights with short ~1hr stop overs as well as direct (Air Canada) but the cost is up there. I used Hipmunk and the cheapest return (Delta) ended up being ~$1300. As for hotels - I'm planning on going there for the French Quarter Festival, so I accept the fact that $200 a night and up is probably in the cards. Does anyone know any agency that specializes in NOLA travel or some other tips worthy of RFD?Thanks in advance!EdCRAP! Sorry. Where do I delete? Wrong forum!
